Closure Dates

LFBS observes the following eight holidays each year. Please note that specific dates may vary annually. If a holiday falls on a weekend, we will typically observe it as follows:

  • Saturday holiday, we will be closed on the preceding Friday.
  • Sunday holiday, we will be closed on the following Monday.

For exact dates each year, please refer to our monthly newsletter and parent notification messages.

  • New Year’s Day – January 1st
  • Memorial Day – Last Monday in May
  • Independence Day – July 4th
  • Thanksgiving Day – Fourth Thursday in November
  • Day After Thanksgiving – Fourth Friday in November
  • Christmas Eve – December 24th
  • Christmas Day – December 25th
  • Labor Day – First Monday in September
