Who We Are Looking For
We are eager to expand our team with passionate individuals across a range of roles. Whether you are seeking full-time employment (32+ hours per week) or part-time work (less than 32 hours per week), we offer a variety of roles to fit your career aspirations. We welcome both year-round and seasonal applicants and are consistently seeking high-quality candidates for the following positions:
- Certificated Teacher: Candidate requires a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate.
- Non-Certificated Teacher: Open to individuals without a Nebraska Teaching Certificate, who are at least 18 years old, and meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold a bachelor's or associate's degree in early childhood education, education, or child/youth development, or
- Possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, or
- Have a high school diploma or GED, plus 1,500 verified clock hours of childcare experience, or must obtain 3 credit hours (or 45 clock hours) of relevant childcare training within six months of employment.
- Assistant Teacher (Support Staff): No formal teaching qualifications required. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and demonstrate good moral character. A teacher must be present in the room at all times when children are in the care of assistant teachers (support staff).
Basic Qualifications for All Positions:
To ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care, candidates for all positions must meet the following criteria:
- Background Checks: Successfully pass comprehensive background checks required by Title 391 NAC. This includes a criminal history record check through the DHHS Central Registry, Nebraska State Patrol, or other local and state law enforcement agencies.
- Health Requirements: Comply with health standards as outlined in Title 391 NAC and the Nebraska DHHS Health Information Report (HIR), demonstrating the capability to effectively and safely perform childcare responsibilities.
- Training Requirements: Complete all mandated training required by Title 391 NAC within the specified timelines following hiring to ensure the safety and well-being of children. The required training includes:
- Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
- Safe sleep practices
- Prevention of shaken baby syndrome
- Recognition and reporting of child abuse and neglect
- CPR and First Aid
