Sarah Satterlee, Owner and Director

Experience in Childcare and Beyond: My journey in childcare spans over a decade, starting as a teacher and progressing to Director at our center. Before diving into childcare, I spent ten years in the corporate world, mastering customer service skills. The birth of my daughter over 11 years ago marked a heartfelt shift toward the childcare profession, allowing me to forge deep connections with children and families, nurturing their development and celebrating at every milestone.

Why Childcare? My passion lies in creating a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families. I am committed to building a vibrant, welcoming team and cultivating an environment that parents are excited to be a part of every day. This dedication to childcare is more than a profession—it's my calling. Together with the community of Gretna and the surrounding areas, we are eager to contribute positively and grow deep roots here.

Personal Life: Alongside my husband Charlie, a co-owner, we embrace the joys and challenges of running our center and raising our four young children in the nearby Aspen Creek neighborhood. Our lives are enriched by the vibrant local community and the fulfilling experiences of small business ownership. We relish the challenges and rewards of managing our family-operated preschool. We look forward to forming lasting relationships with every family that walks through our doors.

Emily Campbell, Education Director

Educational Background and ExperienceI hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and am licensed to teach from infancy through sixth grade in both Nebraska and Alabama. With over sixteen years of experience working with children in various capacities—including as a nanny, tutor, teacher, and mother—I am passionate about crafting educational activities that are both fun and intellectually stimulating. My approach is designed to engage young minds and leave lasting, positive impressions.

Philosophy on Childcare: Younger kiddos have a special place in my heart, which is why I chose to take a career in Early Childhood Education. Research shows that children's first five years of life play a significant role in their lifelong development. As these early years are critical in a child's development, I am dedicated to providing enriching educational experiences that foster their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth. It is deeply rewarding to know that my efforts help lay the foundation for children's future learning. I am eager to introduce your child to the joys of learning through play and exploration.

Personal Life: I reside in the Millard area with my husband, Chase, and our two sons, along with our Shiba Inu, Penny. When not engaged in educational activities, I enjoy reading, baking, and taking family walks.

Commitment to Education: As the Education Director at Little Feet, Big Steps Childcare and Preschool, I am thrilled about the opportunity to contribute to your child's educational journey. I look forward to welcoming your family and making learning a fun and foundational part of your child’s early years.
